Not every band wants to be all modern, shiny and robotically precise. Some do, and that's great. Some prefer the raw, natural and human side of things. I'm good at both. Wherever you are on that spectrum, my mission is to find your sonic identity and make you sound like YOU: with your inspirations, your attitude, your story to tell.

MEET THE MAN
I'm Alex Sedin, mixing engineer and producer. I help bands define the vision of their record, and then bring it to life. As you could have guessed by now, there's a special place in my heart for music that's emotion-driven and painfully real. Heavy music is my number one passion in life.
As I tell my clients, a good mix alone is never enough. Songwriting, arrangement, performance, recording - all that dramatically impacts the way a record feels. That's why I take great care in guiding bands through the whole process: from demoing to recording and beyond. This way we start with the end in mind, addres possible pitfalls early on, and get things to sound best from the beginning.
Trust is extremely important in the production process. Working with a band means stepping into their collective universe in a gentle yet confident way, in order to make creative choices about their music and their message to the world. Each band has their own unique touch, their own set of strengths. My job is figuring out what they are, and making them shine. Always remembering that we are not forever, but our music is.
